HOPE FOR THE HOLIDAYS
FEATURING THE MOVIE “TEAR SOUP” NOVEMBER 5, 2016 12:00 PM – 3:00PM
Second Baptist experienced many losses this year. Some were public, while others were not. It is now the holidays. How will we cope? How can get through it without our loved ones? Come join us for soup. Soup will be served, as well as making “Tear Soup”. “Tear Soup” is a recipe for healing after loss. We will learn about grief. It is a process that cannot be ignored. Let us help you with the process in a safe and supportive space. Please bring a special dish pictures or a special something that you can share about your loved one. Children are invited. Please RSVP to Neva Pryor, at firstname.lastname@example.org or call or text to 267-265-1571. Please feel free to bring a guest.
Below read comments of how she has touched many on her Christian Journey:
Always a bright light shining. She never put it under a bushel. Holding her family in prayer.

Louise had a special way of cheering you up when your intent was to cheer her up. She bought Teddy his very first trumpet book. May she rest peacefully in our Savior’s arms.

What a great woman of faith and perseverance. She took everything that came her way with flexibility and resolve borne of faith. She was a person who made me a better person through knowing her!

My condolences to Sister Stevens’ family. She is like an icon at SB. I was blessed to have known her since I was 12yrs old. She ALWAYS had an encouraging word. She will be missed.

I knew Louise Stevens since I was young. I loved her positivity and her warmth. My mom and her were good friends before her passing. Maybe they’ll meet up in heaven and have a good chat! Praying for her family and friends for comfort at this time. God Bless!
